Tech Safety Guidance Lesson
This 50 minute guidance lesson focuses on two prominent issues in
helping kids to stay out of high-tech trouble. The lesson includes
videos, links, and other resources. To use the lesson, you will need to
burn yourself a copy of it to a CD which requires two steps and having a
writeable CD handy, here is how it works:
| |
|
 |
Download a very large file (remember, the
lesson has lots of videos) from
here. This
file is in what is called an "iso" format which is an
image of a CD, kind of like a zip file -- one file with lots of
other files inside of it. Warning: The megaupload
service that I found to host this very large file may have
advertisement that you may or may not appreciate (e.g., dating
services). Once there, put in the three letter password that is
presented and click on download. It looks like this:

|
 |
Now you will need CD burning software to
convert the file to CD. You may already have this type of
software on your computer. If not, I highly recommend a free one
called BurnAware Free Edition which you can get
here.
Once you open the program, choose "Burn ISO image" as seen
below. |

Enjoy!
