Google+ is literally Google with a plus. The "+" is the social networking piece it adds to all of Google's other services, including Web search, Gmail, and YouTube – which makes the complete package even more attractive to young people. In this Parents' Guide, we introduce you to the service and its features and offer a little context on teen safety and privacy in social media. We also tell you about Google+'s new special safeguards for 13-to-17-year-olds. If you have any questions or feedback, feel free to email us via admin[at]connectsafely.org.
This web site supports Dr. Russell Sabella's work on educating children, parents, educators and other stake holders about the responsible use of technology. Included in these pages you will find helpful resources, lesson plans, links, and more.
